Lisa Garcia
Chief Operating Officer
Lisa Garcia joined Corpus Christi Housing Authority (CCHA)/Coastal Housing Partners (CHP) as the Chief Operating Officer for Coastal Housing Partners in November 2024, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. In her role, she oversees the organization’s operations.
Before joining CCHA/CHP, Lisa was part of the executive team at the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA), where she played a pivotal role in expanding access to affordable housing, benefiting over 7,000 households and 15,000 individuals. She is deeply involved in the affordable housing sector and holds leadership positions within the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), currently serving as President of Texas NAHRO.
Lisa holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University. Outside of her professional career, Lisa is married to James, and they have two adult children. The Garcia family shares a strong commitment to improving communities and advancing affordable housing solutions.
