Karen Miranda serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Corpus Christi Housing Authority and Coastal Housing Partners, providing executive leadership across operations and helping translate strategic priorities into effective practices and measurable results. . With more than fifteen years of leadership experience in operations management, process improvement, human resources, and organizational development, she brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to strengthening performance and advancing the organization’s mission.
Prior to assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer, Karen served as the Vice President of Rental Properties for Bluebonnet Gardens, where she oversaw a diverse portfolio of affordable rental communities serving more than 2,200 families. Her experience across property operations, maintenance, resident services, human resources, compliance, and strategic initiatives provides her with a broad understanding of both the operational and people-focused aspects of affordable housing.
As COO, Karen focuses on strengthening organizational systems, improving coordination and accountability across departments, and ensuring that day-to-day operations support the organization’s strategic goals and commitment to the communities they serve.
Karen studied at Del Mar College and Liberty University and completed the Chief Human Resources Officer program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Certified Management Executive and Certified Hearing Officer.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and capturing the world around her through photography.
