The Mainstream Voucher program provides vouchers for low-income households that include a person(s) with disabilities. The program is designed to help tenants with disabilities live independently in the community. The Mainstream vouchers must be used to assist non-elderly persons with disabilities and their families. The Corpus Christi Housing Authority will provide rental assistance under its mainstream voucher program to assist non-elderly persons with disabilities who are Transitioning out of institutional or other segregated setting, at serious risk of institutionalization, Homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless find safe clean and affordable housing.

Who is Eligible?

• Must meet Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program eligibility requirements.
• Families that include at least one person with a disability between the ages of 18-61
• Applicants must be registered on the HCV waiting list.
